I saw Taxandria, his film after this one and he was really great in that as well. Wish Charlotte Burke had done more (from what I can tell she is married with a child or two so good for her!). Anyway, I didn't like that the dad was made the antagonist esp because they don't show you why Anna's upset with him. Glenn Headley being Brit at the last second was a bad idea though I for some reason adore the line where she says, "Go away, please!" lol it was just too funny the way it came out. She spent a lot of time just shrieking at Anna, didn't she? All of the dream scenes were wonderful and I loved the house and all of the crazy stuff Anna created inside it. One little thing about your review was you mention that the dad tries to kill the kids after they kiss but actually the denouement happens before that kiss. They only kiss after they've made it to the lighthouse and are then out on the cliffs doing rollovers and feeling safe again. (That's not a real lighthouse, btw. *sad) Just for reference here is Elliott Spiers's Find a Grave memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSvcid=180933&GRid=26378080&Taxandriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09550839036868561393noreply@blogger.com
